Test Outs

Students wishing to test out of a class must make an application no later than Wednesday, June 28th in the front office.  Test out exams are scheduled for Monday, July 3rd at 2pm for Day Students and Night Students.  Online students should contact their instructor immediately to make arrangements.  You must achieve a “B” or better on the comprehensive exam to test out of a class.

Students who received incompletes (I’s) for classes during the Spring Term must complete their work no later than Friday, July 7th.

Independence Day

Medical Assisting Students

 If you are starting your Medical Science and Theory classes next term, please see Kim, Mary, or Bruce regarding uniforms.  No uniforms need to be worn the first day of classes.

Summer Term Registration

The National Center for Competency Testing will be offering the National Certified Medical Assistant Exam to qualified students on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 10:00am.  All students must make application online directly to NCCT.  The application process must be completed no later than Thursday, July 6, 2017 in order to sit for the exam on Friday, July 21, 2017.  (There are no exceptions – NCCT requires submission of all documentation and payment 2 weeks prior to exam date.) Please be sure to maintain a copy of the confirmation information sent to you by NCCT after you register for the exam.  You will need this in order to sit for the exam.  If you have any questions or need assistance in signing up for the exam, please see Leasa Davis in Room #5 of the Tech Building.

Review classes for the NCCT exam will be offered on Friday at 9:00am on June 30, 2017; July 7, 2017; and July 14, 2017 in the Medical Lab in the Tech Building.  If you have any questions concerning the Review Courses, please contact Kim Strickland or Bruce Wendelken.  Students are encouraged to purchase a subscription for the Medical Assistant Interactive Review that is found online under the NCCT website.  Please be sure and have the registration process completed by the due date, otherwise you will not be allowed to test.  NCCT does not add names to the roster until payment is made.
